Itinerary

Day 1Delhi Arrival - Sightseeing

On arrival at Delhi airport, meet and transfer to hotel for 01 night. After noon proceed for Delhi sightseeing visiting Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Red Fort, made by Mughal Empror Shahjahan, Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. India Gate, this 42ms high stone of triumph is a war memorial. It bears the names of 85,000 Indian army soldiers, who died in the campaigns of 1st World War. Rashtrapati Bhawan – This palace-like building is the official residence of the President of India and an interesting blend of Mughal and western architectural styles. Qutab Minar – The highest monument of India. Humayun’s Tomb, is mausoleum of the Mughal emperor Humayun. Bahai Temple, or the Lotus Temple is a marvel of modern architecture. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2Delhi - Shimla

After breakfast check out and drive to Shimla (343 kms/8 hrs) former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow capped Shivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Shimla has been blessed with all the natural bounties, one can think of. Dwelling on a panoramic location, the hilly town is surrounded by green pastures and snow-capped peaks. The spectacular cool hills accompanied by the structures made during the colonial era create an aura, which is very different from other hill stations. On arrival check in at hotel for 02 nights. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight stay at Shimla.

Day 3Shimla & Kufri Sightseeing

After breakfast proceeds for a day trip to visit in and around sightseeing of Shimla and Kufri. India’s one of the best holiday paradise Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town – “THE MALL & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla’s landmarks – the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo – Tudor library building – are worth seeing. Overnight stay at Shimla.

Day 4Shimla – Kullu - Manali

After breakfast check out from the hotel & drive to Manali (280 kms / 10 hrs) a picture-perfect hill resort at an altitude of 1,929 meters. On arrival check in at hotel for 03 nights. Manali is one of the most beautiful hill stations of the country. Set amidst pine-clad mountains, which gradually close in on both sides of the Beas and nestling in their shade, as though carved out of primeval forest, is a scattered hamlet, which comprises this picturesque summer resort. With the majestic grandeur of the Himalayas on one side, river Beas cutting across the town, verdant valleys with rolling meadows and grazing herds dotting the hillsides, apple orchards and the folk music adding romance to the ambience and presenting a wondrous canvas to the traveler. On the way visit places like Sundernagar lake, Mandi, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Devi Temple, Mini Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu Shawl Factories. Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 5Manali – Rohtang Pass - Manali

After breakfast proceed to visit the Solang Valley, which offers fine views of glaciers and snow, capped peaks. A place not to be missed is Rohtang Pass, 51 km from Manali at an altitude of 3978 meters (allowed subject to weather conditions). The Pass, which provides the only access to the Lahaul Valley, is open from June to November each year. Snowfall is, however, unpredictable and blizzards can close the Pass even during this period. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendor. Places to visit are Nehru Kund, Kothi, Rahala Fall, Marhi, Rani Nallah, Rohtang Pass & Solang Valley Rest of the day free to relax or walk around the interesting place. Overnight stay at Manali.

After breakfast free for your own activities or for shopping at local bazaar / market. Afternoon check out from the hotel and transfer to Delhi airport as per flight timing for departure after and ever memorable holiday in North India.
